Project Details
Grindley Williams Engineering (GWE) had an established FileMaker database. The front end was developed for devices no longer used by the organization, and the back end had inherited technical debt. Due to changes in processes over time, the user interface of the platform did not align with current workflows, and sunset functionalities were still visible.
I worked with users to identify which functions and task flows could be enhanced, which should be sunset, and which needed to be added. Based on this research, I designed an updated UI and tested it with users for feedback. From there, I built out the front end design and partnered with the developers on back end changes.
